The crypt extending under the choir includes a main chapel connected to two side chapels (north chapel or chapel Sainte-Anne and south chapel or chapel Saint-Martial) by a vaulted archway. In its western part the main chapel communicates with an elongated composite space, forming a small rectangular nave (7m x 4m), preceded to the west by a vestibule, called "vault"; this space, probably corresponding to the former religious building, formerly not buried, and including various Gallo-Roman replacements, is vaulted in cradle and comprises two wells arranged at an indeterminate time. The eastern part of the central chapel and the side chapels are vaulted cross warheads. The crypt is accessed from the inside of the church by a stairway at the south transept and from the outside by a staircase at the north transept. The church has a nave with five spans, bordered by two narrow collaterals, a double-spaced transept, the western vessel being wider than the eastern vessel, and a large choir with flat chevet, the latter being built of limestone. The first span of the nave and the crossing of the transept are vaulted by a dome on pendants; the second span of the nave is vaulted into a broken cradle, the other three, as well as the transept and the choir, intersecting ogives and collaterals in the vault. The bell tower, rectangular and with three levels, is built on the first bay of the nave; surmounted by a wooden arrow, it is accosted, on the first level, of two stone bell-towers.
