Flush-mounted horizontal granite marker located in front of Johnstown United Church.
The church was built, and services begun, in 1879. In 1925, the church, formerly a United Methodist congregation, realigned with the United Church of Canada.
The capsule was placed by church elders. Date of encapsulation is unknown, however it is designated to be opened in 2079, the bicentennial of the church.
