American Legion Glasco-Legako Post No. 61 meets at 318 E. 2nd Street in a one-story brick building which was once a movie theater. The Post meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:00.

This group of veterans participates in various community activities during the year, such as park clean-up, and they host a couple of craft bazaars during the holidays. This post was established in 1954. They maintain a very nice war memorial in the open lot just to the east of their building.
