This bust of Andrew Jackson was commissioned by the Ladies Hermitage Association and created by sculptor G. Proctor in 1961.
The bust is of Jackson in his high-necked full-dress Army uniform, with double rows of gold buttons, overlapping coat lapels, and gold epaulets. The bust ends at his waist, where a silk sash is wrapped.
A plaque beneath the bust reads as follows:
