This memorial has a small plaque in front that reads:

Behind it is a larger structure with one panel on each of its four sides, listing the names of those who served. Extending up out of it is a flag pole. There is a benchmark set into it as well.
A little to the west is a memorial for those who served in Korea and Vietnam. This park also has a band shell and a public swimming beach.
