"The church of St Michael and All Angels in Harston is recorded as Historic England List ID 1295028, which mentions "in (the) porch stands an interlace Saxon stone with cable border".
The church is also recorded as Pastscape Monument 323881, which tells us that "incorporated into the (exterior) east wall is an Anglo Saxon stone".
The stone in the east wall of the church can be seen as you walk through the lych gate and approach the church; it is immediately centred under the east window. The stone in the south porch is next to the interior western wall, but is cemented so close to it, it is only just possible to see the carving on the back of it."
