This plaque is located at the front entrance to the Midwest City Fire Department Headquarters at 8201 E. Reno. It is fitting that the Fire Department pay homage to this disaster as firefighters figured so prominently in the rescue operations, and lost so many of their own.
This is a bronze plaque attached to a concrete base which has engraved pictures of the scenes of the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and the field in Pennsylvania. The plaque reads:
