2½ Milestone of the former Hamburg-Elmenhorster Chaussee in Ahrensburg - Wulfsdorf.
The Chaussee from Hamburg to Elmenhorst was built in 1843 in the then Danish Duchy of Holstein and, together with other roads and the first railway lines, formed the basis of a modern transport infrastructure. The milestones with their royal monograms were also a symbol of Danish rule in Holstein, which had belonged to the German Confederation since 1815.
