"A Place of Healing" was commissioned by Baystate Children's Hospital Specialty Center in order to make the hospital a less intimidating place for children. The 22'4" by 13'6" by 10'6" brightly painted aluminum sculpture depicts children playing along a blue grid. The L-shaped sculpture was created by Peter W. Michel, fabricated by Amaral Custom Fabrications of Bristol, RI. It was installed on the second story of two exterior wall on June 16, 2014 .
