FR L'Acadiane est un petit véhicule utilitaire de charge utile 475 kg produit par Citroën. Il est dérivé de la Dyane et remplace les 2 CV fourgonnettes à partir de mars 1978 jusqu'en 1987.

Son nom, qui est un clin d'œil à un territoire de Louisiane, est né de l'association de Dyane et de AK (dénomination des fourgonnettes chez Citroën). Elle est l'ultime représentante d'une lignée de fourgonnettes qui commence avec le lancement de la 2 CV en 1951. L'Acadiane (type AY CD) concurrence les fourgonnettes Renault 4 F4 et F6.

Citroën, à une époque, a coupé la voiture pour ne garder que l'arrière et en faire une remorque.

C'est au cours d'une randonnée, une boucle Sigonce - La Blache - Le Revest - Saint Martin - Sigonce que j'ai trouvé cette épave, un peu au milieu de nulle part, à 30 m du chemin de terre carrossable le plus proche. Abandonnée en bordure de la forêt, elle semblait avoir servie à transporter du gibier (sangliers ?) puisque l'on peut encore lire l'autocollant "Rendez-vous de Roquerousse" qui organisait des chasses à la journée depuis Salon de Provence (72 km à vol d'oiseau).
Ce type de véhicule, par son faible poids passait un peu partout et pouvait ramener les prises.

EN The Acadiane is a small utility vehicle with a payload of 475 kg produced by Citroën. It is derived from the Dyane and replaces the 2 CV vans from March 1978 to 1987.

Its name, which is a nod to a Louisiana territory, was born from the association of Dyane and AK (Citroën's van name). She is the ultimate representative of a line of vans that began with the launch of the 2CV in 1951. The Acadiane (type AY CD) competes with Renault 4 F4 and F6 vans.

Citroën, at one time, cut the car off to keep only the rear and turn it into a trailer.

It was during a hike, a Sigonce loop - La Blache - Le Revest - Saint Martin - Sigonce that I found this wreck, a little in the middle of nowhere, 30 m from the nearest road. Abandoned on the edge of the forest, it seemed to have been used to transport game (wild boars?) since you can still read the sticker "Rendez-vous de Roquerousse" which organized day hunts from Salon de Provence (72 km as the crow flies).
