On an angled, grey stone plinth is a bolted-down bronze plaque, which is in a square enclosure, of brick pavers on three sides, and the concrete kerb on the fourth. The rough-barked Dedicated Tree (an unknown species of Gum Tree) is surrounded with fine wood chips, and has a slight lean out towards the road. It is right beside a council's rubbish bin. The plaque has the following punched inscription:
