The Edwin P. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge protects some 47,000 acres along New Jersey's coastline. Established in 1939, 2019 marks the Refuge's 80th anniversary.
This YAH is located outside the Visitor Information Center and Nature Discovery Area.
In addition to bird and wildlife spotting, the refuge boasts an 8 mile Wildlife Drive loop, and many hiking/walking trails, several with lookouts.
