Fronting Parramatta Road, with the Mays Hill Cemetery behind, is this circular plaque, surrounded with four rings of bricks as pavers.

Unfortunately the plaque is under some mature trees, and the leaf litter falling on it has exacerbated the day-to-day corrosion of the raised, cast lettering of the inscription, making it too hard to transcribe.

The plaque is 'Titled': GENESIS OF HOLROYD CITY: 1872 | 1997
