The College of Pharmacy at Southwestern Oklahoma State University was first established in 1939 and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 1989. The Doctor of Pharmacy degree is a four-year degree, completed after first achieving the two-year pre-professional work. The School of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education and it is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. The School is housed in the Chemistry/Pharmacy/Physic building on the SWOSU campus.
This commemorative garden has a circular patio with donation bricks, and eleven benches. Around this circle are curved raised brick gardens. At the center is a raised brick garden approximately ten feet in diameter. At its center is a granite monument which reads:
