"House. Late C16 to C17. Timber frame with render over panel infill and two later brick bays to left. Thatched roof. Three principal bays of timber framing of boxframe construction with some intermediate posts and rails. though some of these are now interrupted. Some arch bracing, and sill beam on plinth. Renewed three light casement windows, two on each floor. Axial stack. Two bays to left have inner door and casement windows of two and three lights. Stack on junction of the two parts. Alongside the house and to the right is a length of a brick wall with blue headers on a stone plinth. It incorporates a round headed date stone, 1730 with initials P over SM."
