National Museum of Industrial History is located on the Steelsacks Campus of the former Bethlehem Steel foundry on Bethlehem's south side.
It was opened in 2016 to celebrate industrial heritage everywhere. As an affiliated Smithsonian museum, it has a unique opportunity to display well over 200 industrial artifacts from the Smithsonian's vast collection.
The artifacts, both static and interactive, share their stories in various groupings, such as iron, steel, textiles, printing, the 1876 World's Exposition, and much more.
The Museum is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
The museum will be closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
