The memorial is located in front of the veterans memorial. The memorial is a wall with Veterans Memorial on one side. On the back are a series of plaques. Each one is for a different war.
The plaques read:
In memory of the men and women who served and gave their lives in the Vietnam War 1961-1975.
Dedicated Mar 1922 to those who served in World War by Danville Women's Club
In memory of the men and women who served and gave their lives in World War II 1941-1945.
In memory of the men and women who served and gave their lives in the Korean Conflict 1950-1953.
Re-dedicated Nov 8, 1997 to those men and women from this great area who served their country during war and peace. Good bless America.
When a serviceman or woman is lost in the battlefield, it has become customary to arrange their boots, rifle and helmet in the configuration you see before you. The surviving members of their squad will gather around this 'Battlefield Cross' to memorialize their fallen comrades.

Located on Hartz Ave. The memorial is a low wall and bench. It's in front of the Veterans Memorial Hall. The memorial also has a Battlefield Cross sculpture.
