Very little is known about this petroglyph. It was originally located on a nearby beach in the tidal zone where the waves were slowly eroding it.

The City of Surrey and the heritage community opted to move it to Heron Park to help protect it better and have it in an accessible location. Here is a link to the recent history of the petroglyph -- (visit link)
