The Russell House is at 203 S. Juliana Street in Bedford Borough and was built in 1815-16. Russell House is a two-one-half story Flemish bond brick structure in the late-Georgian style.
The Russell House was named for James M. Russell, a local attorney-at-law, who hired Solomon Filler to design and built his home. As the Russell family grew to eight children, Mr. Russell had a two-story ell added to the rear of his home.
The Russell House is currently used for county offices.
