Popis vlajky: Modrý list s bílým osedlaným konem bez uzdy, v poskoku, s cervenou pokrývkou pod zlatým sedlem. Za hlavou je zlatá petilistá ruže s cerveným semeníkem a zelenými kališními lístky. Pomer šírky k délce listu je 2:3. According to Flags of the World, the flag of Ostrava. Flag description: Azure a horse trippant (= rearing) argent; that's the historical coat of arms of Moravská Ostrava (until 1940s City of Moravská Ostrava) - the saddle is golden, also the rose (buttoned red and with green leaves between the petals. The cloth under the saddle is red. The horse has no bridle, etc; only saddle. - The base (on the coat of arms) is green. The width to sheet length ratio is 2:3.
