La chapelle de procession Saint-Roch est un petit édifice religieux bâti avant 1753. Cette chapelle en pierre crépie présente une nef de plan rectangulaire terminée par une abside en hémicycle. Elle est coiffée d'un toit à deux versants légèrement retroussés et un clocher surmonte le faîte en façade. La chapelle de procession Saint-Roch s'élève en bordure de l'avenue Royale, à l'ouest de l'église, dans la municipalité de L'Ange-Gardien.
La procession est une pratique de la liturgie catholique héritée de la France médiévale et apportée en Nouvelle-France par les premiers colons. En 1660, le haut clergé de la Nouvelle-France autorise la construction de chapelles dites de procession. Elles servent notamment de lieux de rassemblement lors de manifestations liturgiques, telles les Rogations et la procession du saint sacrement lors de la Fête-Dieu. On construira des chapelles de procession jusque vers 1900, alors que la coutume des processions, fortement enracinée dans la culture populaire québécoise, disparaîtra graduellement au cours des années 1960.
La chapelle de procession Saint-Roch aurait été construite avant 1753. L'abbé Louis-Gaspard Dufournel, curé de L'Ange-Gardien entre 1694 et 1753, a fait un legs pour l'ornementation des chapelles de procession Saint-Roch et Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, ce qui suggère leur érection pendant sa cure. La chapelle Saint-Roch est restaurée ou reconstruite en 1821, mais la nature des travaux demeure obscure. Le clocher actuel, de facture simple, remplace celui d'origine à une date indéterminée. Cette chapelle a longtemps été associée à la famille Brisson, qui assurait son entretien.

The Saint-Roch procession chapel stands on the edge of Royale Avenue, west of the church, in the municipality of L'Ange-Gardien.
The procession is a practice of the Catholic liturgy inherited from medieval France and brought to New France by the first settlers. In 1660, the high clergy of New France authorized the construction of so-called processional chapels. They serve as gathering places during liturgical events, such as the Rogations and the procession of the Blessed Sacrament during Corpus Christi. Processional chapels were be built up until around 1900. While the custom of processions was strongly rooted in Quebec's popular culture, they started to gradually disappear in the 1960s.

The chapel Saint-Roch was restored or rebuilt in 1821, but the nature of the work remains obscure. The current bell tower, simple invoice, replaces the original one at an indeterminate date. This chapel has long been associated with the Brisson family, who maintained it.
