By the side of the Snowy Mountain Highway is this Painted Mailbox.

It is built from a large tank (petrol, diesel, or LPG), but with the addition of silver-painted, short-cut pieces of metal pipe into rings for the eyes, and a silver-painted, bent metal piece welded between the eyes for the nose, and nicely bent metal pipe for the arms; and even black-painted metal hands have been added.

To top it, it has been painted in similar colouring to a typical Minion, of yellow body and blue trousers with suspender straps. Though, as this was just after Christmas, it had an added white beard below the slot for the mail, and a Santa hat on top. The rear/location view shows the 'back-flap', to extract the mail, and better shows the black painted feet. It is quite firmly attached to a square pad of concrete, well back from the Highway, beside the dirt driveway for this property.
