Mounted at the entrance to its parking area from Park Avenue, Bimbo Bakeries greets its employees and visitors with a Positive People Crossing sign. Although Bimbo currently operates out of this building, it has a long history as a bakery in Reading. This 90 year old building began life as Weston Foods and in 1998 Stroehmann's Bakery purchased the building and operated there until Bimbo purchased it in 2008. Per Bimbo, at that time, the acquisition of this bakery was the "most important in Bimbo's 63 year history." (
