Ecce homo ("behold the man") are the Latin words used by Pontius Pilate in the Vulgate translation of John, when he presents a scourged Jesus Christ, bound and crowned with thorns, to a hostile crowd shortly before his Crucifixion. The original Greek is "idou ho anthropos", and the Douay-Rheims Bible translates the phrase into English as "Behold the Man". The scene has been widely depicted in Christian art.

Za obcí situovaná pozdne barokní plastika Krista na tvarovaném podstavci predstavuje ikonografický typ sedícího Krista Trpitele, nekdy nazývaný i Ecce Homo ci Melancholický Kristus. Typický barokne tvarovaný sokl vyrustá z trístupnové základny. Lehce profilované kamenné stupne základny jsou mírne konvexne vypuklé. Konvexne vypuklý ctyrboký odstupnovaný sokl s úzkými bocními volutovými krídly je ukoncen bohate profilovanou vyloženou rímsou. Na prední strane se v plastické kartuši nachází šestirádkový rytý majuskulní latinský nápis s chronogramem. Zadní strana soklu nese v jednoduchém rytém rámu špatne citelný starocesky psaný šestirádkový minuskulní nápis. Na soklu je umístena orímsovaná podnož s vlastní sochou sedícího Krista v životní velikosti. Kristus odený pouze v bederní roušku sedí na ctyrboké stolici pokryté drapérií. Pravá noha stojí na mírne vyvýšeném stupni. Pokrcená pravá ruka se loktem opírá o stehno a dlaní podpírá sklonenou hlavu s útrpným odevzdaným výrazem. Levice je volne položena v klíne a trímá rákosovou trtinu. Kristus má na hlave mohutnou trnovou korunu a z hlavy vychází tri svazky paprscité glorioly. Rákos a gloriola jsou kovové, zlacené.
