The glassworks Tasice was founded in 1796 and is one the oldest preserved glassmaking factory in Central Europe. Village Tasice is located 25 km from Kutná Hora.

The complex of the buildings forming the glassworks is a singular conglomerate built between the 1820s and late 20th century, and serves as an example of continuous development of industrial architecture. The glasswork complex is the National Cultural Monument of the Czech Republic.

The factory is operated as a unique outdoor glassmaking museum with small glass production. It also includes an outlet shop which offers beautiful products by leading Czech glassworks and artists.

Jedná se o jedinecný soubor historických budov prevážne industriálního charakteru prístupný jako výjimecne zachovalý sklárský skanzen.

Mnoho historických událostí místního, regionálního nebo svetového významu prešlo kolem, ale sklárna stále stojí na svém míste a pripomíná slavnou minulost, soucasnost a budoucnost ceského sklárství.

Prijedte na návštevu do sklárny, která zde stojí již 220 let. Sklárna je unikátním dokladem sklárské výroby 18. a 19. století.
