This a Multi-purpose Service, with an Emergency Department. It has fewer than fifty beds, and apart from the Emergency Department the next important of the Hospital is the Nursing Home Care Unit. (No operations performed here) There is Rehabilitation, and Palliative services available to a limited degree.

It was Opened in June 2008. Talks to negotiate a hospital for Dunedoo commenced in 1914, but put on held with the start of World War One. The 'Old Dunedoo Hospital' was opened on September 8 1945.
