The Teresa de Bolívar square was designed in 1958 by the versatile Nestor Álamo and the Canarian artist Santiago Santana in order to relieve the El Pino square from pilgrims and visitors, especially on festive days.
Among other things, this fountain, made of yellow stone from Teror, is surprising because of its baroque style, so it seems to date back to the 17th century.
