Berwyn Cemetery is located at the north end of Prairie Street on the west side of this small town of about 150 residents. This cemetery currently has 493 burials. The cemetery is not to be confused with "Old Berwyn Cemetery", also known a Dillon Cemetery, which lies about one-quarter mile to the north and has only 27 burials.

Berwyn Cemetery is flat land with a few scattered trees. It is surrounded by a chain link fence and is well maintained. There is a drive running north-south and another east-west which is partially graveled. There are entrances on the northwest and southeast corners. A cattle guard is located at the northwest entrance. The cemetery sign is a wood board painted "BERWYN / Rest in Peace / CEMETERY".
