"Merriwa is home to a Bottle Museum. This Museum has a large range of bottles varying in sizes, shapes and colours. Some of these bottles date back to the early 1800's. The collection is made up of over 5,000 bottles, of which many have been kindly donated by residents of Merriwa." Unfortunately I was 'on a mission', to get to Lightning Ridge for a CITO Event that afternoon, and still had a LONG way to go, and the Museum wasn't open for me to personally check it out. The Museum was opened in December 1987.
