The South Carolina Railroad Museum is located at 110 Industrial Park Rd, Winnsboro, SC. Really great staff on train with color commentary on the history of the former RRW railroad days and the granite industry that flourished here in years past. There are a variety of fares for the excursion rider. There is the most expensive ticket for the really adventurous - the locomotive rider. The caboose has about 6 seats that are first come first sits - bay windows are the prized seats. Least expensive are the passenger cars and covered open air gondolas. The museum does have meal nights on some Saturdays. Riders can eat a meal on the train as it traverses it route.
