"Pollination is critical to our economy, food security, and ( environmental health. Pollination is a tremendously valuable r service provided by pollinators such as bees, butterflies, birds, 5 and other creatures. The work of pollinators ensures the production of about one third of our foods and beverages, a generating more than $15 billion worth of products annually. However, pollinator populations are declining.
Creating quality habitats for pollinators can help them maintain their populations at a healthy level. This garden showcases California native plants, drought-tolerant plants, and sustainable gardening practices such as mulching and composting. All these components work together to create a resilient garden that provides wildlife habitat, enhances aesthetics, and uses resources efficiently."
