"On the right when entering the nave from the tower, is a deep stone font, said to be adapted from the capital of a Norman column and dated to late C12 or early C13 by Nicolaus Pevsner. This font is still in use.
On the left of the nave, separating it from the north aisle are the three Romanesque arches, restored first when the north aisle was reconstructed in 1836 and again remodelled in the 1868-69 general restoration."
