East 2nd St has several names depending on what part of Edmond you are at. To the east, by Lake Arcadia, this is Rt. 66. To the west, this is first West Edmond Rd. then N.W. 178th St.
The area of East 2nd St. has so many recognizable locations: The University of Central Oklahoma, the Edmond Hospital, Fire Station #1, First Christian Church, McAlister's Deli, Target, and Freddy's Frozen Custard, just to name a few. E. 2nd St. and Bryant Ave. is one of Edmond's busiest intersections.
