EN: The sculpture "Alpha & Omega" is an iron sculpture by René Küng from the year 2006. The six-centimeter-thick iron bar was bent by the artist himself to a triangular and a round spiral – or just an A and an O.
The sculpture was part of an exhibition of the artist in the monastery garden of Dornach in 2017 and 2018. After the end of the exhibition, he left "Alpha & Omega" on loan.
DE: Die Skulptur "Alpha & Omega" ist eine Eisenplastik von René Küng aus dem Jahr 2006. Die sechs Zentimeter dicke Eisenstange wurde vom Künstler eigenhändig zu einer dreieckigen und einer runden Spirale – oder eben einem A und O – verbogen.
Die Skultur war Teil einer Ausstellung des Künstlers im Klostergarten von Dornach 2017 und 2018. Nach dem Ende der Ausstellung hat er "Alpha & Omega" als Leihgabe zurückgelassen.
