The church depended, at the end of the 13th century, the chapter of Notre-Dame-la-Grande of Poitiers. The 18th century records show heavy restoration work. In 1836, the vault collapses and is rebuilt soon after. From 1860 to 1865, works are carried out by the architect Segretain. The building has an elongated plan, with a single nave of two spans, a span under bell tower and a choir span completed by an apse. In the nave, the double arches fall on columns with molded bases and carved capitals. The bell tower is vaulted with a dome with a square plan at the base and on horns at the corners. The arched arch portal is three rows of archings. The bedside is covered with slate. Most modillions were redone in the 19th century. A square bell tower is the sum of the building.

L'église dépendait, à la fin du 13e siècle, du chapitre de Notre-Dame-la-Grande de Poitiers. Les archives du 18e siècle font état de lourds travaux de restauration. En 1836, la voûte s'écroule et est refaite peu après. De 1860 à 1865, des travaux sont réalisés par l'architecte Segretain. L'édifice présente un plan allongé, à nef unique de deux travées, une travée sous clocher et une travée de choeur terminée par une abside. Dans la nef, les arcs doubleaux retombent sur des colonnes à bases moulurées et à chapiteaux sculptés. La travée sous clocher est voûtée d'une coupole à plan carré à la base et sur trompes aux angles. Le portail en arc brisé est à trois rangées de voussures. Le chevet est recouvert de lauzes. La plupart des modillons ont été refaits au 19e siècle. Un clocher carré somme l'ensemble de l'édifice.
