In Walpole, along Mass. Route 1A, is a bridge dated 1911 that carries Route 1A over the Neponset River.

The bridge is near the intersection of Route 1A and North Street. Park at the Country Kitchen Coffee and Donuts parking lot.

The bridge is a concrete structure that carries two lanes (one each way) of traffic. The bridge has two dates: 1911 on one side, and 1924 on the other. I am assuming that 1924 is a significant update to the bridge of 1911: thus, the 1911 date is used.

Recently, hearings have taken place about a plan to reconstruct a major portion of Route 1A, including this bridge.
