Site Location: On Mistake Island about 5 miles southeast of Jonesport.

Directions to this site: Jonesport, ME - Turn off ME-187 to Beal's Island, cross island to Great Wass Island, follow to end, walk along shore for distant view. Nature preserve, but day visitors allowed by boat.

Nearest City/Town: Jonesport, ME

Purpose: Marked the entrance to Eastern Bay toward Jonesport.

Built: 1827, 1851
