Former Bank - Fort Cobb, OK - Converted Bank Buildings on Waymarking.com

This bank building is located on Main Street on the southwest corner of Main and Hazlett. It is a one-story brick building with a flat roof. The entrance is canted at the northeast corner and consists of a metal door with a glass panel, flanked by wood inserts over the original sidelights. A fanned transom is covered with wood. Above the entrance is a heavy stone arch, supported by granite pillars with stone bases.

The two windows on the north and five on the south are large two-paned fixed units which have stone sills and lintels. a stone belt course runs along the north side and partially on the east side, above the windows. There are three additional entrances on the east side. A narrow stone water table runs around the building, about one foot from the ground. The building is currently occupied by the Tackett Insurance Agency.
