Die Bürgelplatte ist eine 446 Meter hohe, markante Felsformation aus Grünschiefer. Sie ist plateauartiger Vorgipfel des Altkönigs, an dessen südlichem Abhang der Block liegt. Die Bürgelplatte zählt zu einer der Top-Boulderadressen im Taunus.
The Bürgelplatte is a 446 meters high striking rock formation of greenschist. It is a plateau-like pre-summit of the Altkönig, on whose southern slope the block lies. The Bürgelplatte is one of the top bouldering addresses in the Taunus.
