The Albert-Oney School was built in 1938 as a WPA project. It is constructed of coursed stone, and has a gable roof. A portion of the roof has collapsed. The school has not been in use for quite a while. We were unable to approach any closer than the road.

The school is located on County Road E1230, about one-half mile east of Oney Baptist Church, on the north side. The post office in Albert was established in 1910. Only the post office is called Albert. The town is known locally as Oney.
