To the disappointment of so many, the Bricktown Chelino's has closed. On the day of my visit there were two others groups here to take photos, including one nice lady who had worked here for over two decades!
A sign posted at the front door says:
We are saddened and regret to inform you that after 25 years this location is no longer open for business. Thank you for a sensational 25 years of business. We truly are saddened, and hope that you will visit us at any other of our 12 locations.

Popular Oklahoma City restaurant Chelino's is closing its Bricktown location after 25 years, according to their Facebook page.
"These business decisions are very difficult to make, as many of us have made great memories here," reads a Facebook post. "We are proud to have been a key element in the Bricktown boom of the 90’s. Despite our efforts in keeping this location open and serving our amazing customers, we have made the decision to close indefinitely."
The Bricktown location will have its last day of business on Saturday. All other locations in Oklahoma City, Edmond, Del City, Norman, Yukon, Moore and El Reno will remain open, they say.
