This oversized stone sculpture of a Sharecropper and his family stands on the Plaza de la Era in Vecindario. It was created in 1993 by the artist Santiago Vargas Jorge (San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Gran Canaria, 23 July 1942) and is dedicated to the work and the efforts of the farmer family.
The sculpture was donated and erected by the Lions Club Vecindario in 1994.
