My friend, Crazy4Horses, was here from Texas to do a Route 66/Oklahoma tour of geocaches and waymarks. Today we started in Inola, then went to Claremore, Catoosa, Sapulpa and Tulsa. It was a very cold and windy day as we walked around the grounds of the Will Rogers Museum but well worth it. This relief sculpture is very interesting, but it gave me a sense of the brokenness and dispair of the depression days because it appeared to be cracked and broken and the figure was laying down on the ground. I like this image better as a painting with Will sitting in his chair.
