The purpose of this group is to maintain and develop the Waywardwaymarking web site created by Janell Brown, hikenutty.
This web site has been a valuable resource for beginning and experienced waymarkers alike, but it has become complex enough that a team of dedicated people is needed to keep it active and fresh with new material on a regular basis.
** The Goal
- To provide resources for the beginning waymarker - a front door to our hobby
- To develop features for the experienced waymarker to enjoy
- To be the best and friendliest resource for the entire waymarking community.
- To keep the site updated with fresh content and features so there's always a reason to visit.
** How It Works
- Group management, combining our collective experience, insights, ideas, and resources
- Individual assignments for departments and features
- Cross coverage so no one is left alone or burdened, esp. for vacations, illness, or other busy times
** Who Should Join
- Dedicated and enthusiastic people who are having fun waymarking
- Experienced people who have a good overall grasp of waymarking
- New people who want to explore the possiblities of waymarking
- People with web design skills, basic HTML knowledge, graphics design, etc.
- People with writing ability to provide fresh content
- People willing to take primary responsibility for a department or feature
