There is a group for operating antique hotels but no Waymark group for former hotels and motels. Many historic former hotels and motels live on to be repurposed for retail, low cost housing and more.
Here is an example: Travelers Hotel- Kirksville MO
The Travelers Hotel Kirksville MO was in operation as a hotel from 1923 to 2007. When the railroad still served Kirksville it was very close to the depot. The depot is no longer there.
