A demonstration garden is a teaching garden, established to demonstrate different methods of gardening or different plant materials (or different varieties of the same plants). Examples include, but are not limited to: composting demonstration gardens; xeriscaping demonstration gardens; horticultural demonstration gardens; permaculture demonstration gardens; native plant demonstration gardens; enabling demonstration gardens. The demonstration garden should be open to the public.
