The purpose of this category is to bring attention to wasteful government spending by providing a brief description of the facts and figures and then bringing people to these sites by providing a Waymark of the location.
My first entry will be a remote public campground that was closed to the public several years ago, turned into a very elaborate prisoner work camp with electricity and on-site sewage disposal system , operated for one summer season and then mothballed for the last six years.
Another local government project that I would bring attention to is one where the government spent tens-of-thousands of dollars to import and plant several 50' tall dead tree snags to provide hunting perches for red-tailed hawks.
There's more to each of these stories and the waypoint description could go into more or less detail about the facts and figures and the visitors could add to the descriptions in their logs.
