Lycopodiophyta (or Lycopods) is a tracheophyte subdivision of the Plant Kingdom. It is the oldest extant vascular plant division at around 410 million years old, but even so Lycopods are rare and often overlooked.
For people interested in Lycopods, both the extant Lycopodiopsida (clubmosses and firmosses) and Isoetopsida (quillworts and spikemosses) and the extinct (zosterophylls, lepidodendron, sigillaria, etc).
