Alpaca and Llama Farms
Description:
Alpaca Farms and Llama Farms cover the globe. Trusty and temperamental Llamas are used as guard animals to protect livestock from predators and are popular beasts of burden. Mild-mannered Alpacas resemble miniature llamas and provide a pricey fleece. This category is for the farms that raise Alpacas and/or Llamas as the primary livestock.
Expanded Description:
Alpacas (Vicugna pacos) are domestic South American camelids and have been domestic for thousands of years. They are raised in farms for the purpose of selling their coats as high-valued fleece. Many Alpaca Farms also breed Alpacas for sale.

Llamas (Lama glama) are domestic South American camelids and cannot be found in the wild. They are raised in farms for the purpose of serving as guard animals to protect livestock from predators and as pack animals.

While the Alpacas and Llamas have their origins on the South American continent, Alpaca Farms and Llama Farms are located worldwide. There are many different breeds of Alpacas and Llamas. Farms that raise primarily Vicuña and Guanaco will also be accepted.

There are many Alpaca Farm associations that have organized to assist and educate Alpaca Farming both locally and globally. Click * here * for a Google search of Alpaca associations.

There are also many Llama associations that have organized to assist and educate Llama Farming both locally and globally. Click * here * for a Google search of Llama associations.

For example:
