Odd-Shaped Buildings
 allows ratings
Description:
Any home or building that is oddly shaped. Rectangular-ish buildings need not apply.
Expanded Description:
Some architects are not content to create 'building blocks', and instead venture out with an unusual design that fascinates people for its ODD SHAPE. You can find examples of these unique buildings here.

Constructed with primarily unusual angles, curves, triangles, bubbles, or maybe it is slanted, conical, mushroom shaped, as long as it is a unique building that was designed to stand out from the norm it probably has a place in this category.

What we are not looking for are buildings that feature primarily rectangular sections, or items that are of an unusual shape but still commonplace. Quonset huts and silos would be examples of commonplace but oddly shaped that would not be included.

The more a building stands apart from the traditional design the better it will fit in here!

The size of the building is not relevant as many private homes can be odd shaped, but in this case they should be very exceptional examples.

Radical designs that challenge the mind in its concept that might be showcased in an architectural magazine or coffee table book make excellent submission.

The Zepter's office building in Warsaw was designed to resemble the letter Z but the truth is it looks more like a huge kettle.
